Are you a hardworking, reliable individual? In this critical role within our lairage, you will undertake the task of maintaining hygiene levels within lairage, lorry wash areas, as well as general housekeeping.2

As a new Lairage Cleaning Operative you will work as part of a small team carrying out tasks relating to pig husbandry including feeding, bedding up and cleaning pens between batches, as well as the movement of pigs. The wellbeing of our livestock is a priority and therefore the highest standards of animal welfare and safety must be maintained at all times. We will provide training to gain certificates of competence.

This role is physically demanding and fast paced, while we attain to work to high standards. We as a team, pride ourselves on animal welfare.

Previous experience of working with pigs is desirable, but someone with a passion for outdoors and working within a team are qualities we are looking for. All protective clothing provided.
