We are recruiting a Quality Auditor (QA) to support our growing technical department.


In this technical role, you will be responsible for inspecting and assessing products against specifications through all stages of production. You will ensure all products conform to quality standards and are to our customers’ specifications.

 

Duties in this role:

  • Perform a wide range of QA activities and functions throughout the manufacturing process, and in different areas of the factory, including the routine inspection and verification of products according to procedure, against specification and to quality standards. This will include internal audits, organoleptic testing and swabbing

  • Conduct product inspections off-site as and when required

  • Accurately record data relating to product conformity in a timely manner

  • General administrative tasks for the department including filing and archiving records

  • Highlight to management any issue that could compromise food safety, quality or legality

  • Report any health and safety hazards within working areas

  • Ensure damaged equipment is not used and any defects are reported to engineers immediately

  • Fully cooperate with site management and the workforce

  • A flexible approach to work in order to meet changing business requirements

  • Carry out all duties as deemed necessary by managerial or supervisory staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the factory

  • Compliance with health and safety rules at all times

  • Compliance with company policies, practices and standard operating procedures

 

Our ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in a QA role is essential

  • Experience working within a fast-moving food manufacturing environment

  • A good level of written and spoken English

  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data-recording skills

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Ability to work using initiative

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Basic IT skills
